Mentoring

At Rere Services, our Mentoring program provides personalised guidance and encouragement to help individuals build life skills, confidence, and resilience. We work alongside people to identify their goals, explore their strengths, and create strategies for personal growth and achievement.

Our mentors focus on empowering individuals to take charge of their own journeys, fostering independence, self-belief, and the ability to navigate life’s challenges. We work closely with whānau and communities to ensure support is holistic, culturally respectful, and person-directed.

Our mentoring services include:

  • Goal-setting and personal development planning.
  • Support in education, employment, and training pathways.
  • Guidance on social skills, communication, and relationship-building.
  • Encouragement to engage in community and recreational activities.
  • Flexible mentoring approaches, tailored to each person’s needs, including support through Individualised Funding (IF) or other funding options.

With Rere Services Mentoring, individuals are supported to grow, thrive, and achieve their aspirations, building confidence and skills that last a lifetime.
